SINGAPORE – To keep myopia at bay, children should play outdoors for two hours a day and avoid prolonged near work.

That’s the advice from the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), as the daylight that the children are exposed to will play a vital part in helping to prevent or delay the onset of myopia, a vision disorder where distant objects appear blurry.
