SINGAPORE – A school which was used to store ammunition and was destroyed in an explosion in 1942 was located in the same Geylang street where what is believed to be a World War II bomb was found on Tuesday (July 23).

Mr Geoffrey Tan, 93, recalled the school when he wrote to The Straits Times after reading the report on the discovery.
