A woman and a girl were taken to hospital after their e-scooter collided with a taxi in Yishun on Saturday morning (July 13).
Stomper Kohji received photos of the incident from a friend and shared them with Stomp.
One of the photos shows a woman, who has her head bandaged, as a uniformed personnel attends to her.
In another photo Kohji shared, an e-scooter can be seen on the ground, next to the hood of a yellow taxi.
Kohji told Stomp: “Based on my understanding, the e-scooter was already crossing halfway and saw no cars but the taxi turned in without looking and crashed into them.”
Responding to Stomp queries, the police said:
“On July 13 at 9.57am, the police were alerted to an accident involving a taxi and an e-scooter along Yishun Avenue 4.
“The e-scooter rider, a 36-year-old woman, and the pillion, a 7-year-old girl, were conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital respectively.
“Police investigations are ongoing.”
